Alison Jacobs MS, LPC
Whether you're weighed down by the past, trying to carry the demands of the present, or feel stuck in survival mode, you weren't meant to do life alone. Alison provides a collaborative approach to better understand your story, identify patterns that keep you stuck, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. She integrates evidence-based therapies to meet your individual needs, with a faith-based approach for women who desire it.
Her areas of practice include women with depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma and loss, chronic illness, perinatal disorders (mood/anxiety/obsessive-compulsive), life and career transitions, and relational concerns. Having served with a ministry in France, she also understands the complexities between cross-cultural/reentry adjustment and mental health issues.
Alison offers a space to support you through life's hardships; find greater emotional, relational, and spiritual health; and step into a life that feels fulfilling and deeply meaningful. She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Evangel University.
