Alison Jacobs MS, LPC
Alison is a licensed professional counselor who works with college-age and adult women. As an evidence-based therapist, Alison integrates primarily Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and a strengths-based approach.
Alison is trained in the integration of psychotherapy and theology and incorporates faith into the therapy process to the degree the client desires.
Alison’s areas of practice include anxiety disorders and stress management; managing health conditions and chronic illness; depression and bipolar disorders; adult ADHD; life and career transitions; and relational concerns.
She served with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) in France and is passionate about supporting missionaries in the reentry process, including adult missionary kids (MKs) who experienced life as third culture kids abroad. Alison received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Evangel University.
