Katie Andrae MSW, APSW
Katie specializes in working with children, adolescents, and women, using a relational approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She supports clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, building emotional awareness, and developing practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply attuned to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Katie has extensive experience working with children and families involved in the foster care system, as well as those facing mental health challenges in both school and home environments. She is especially committed to creating a calm, non-anxious presence-- offering a steady, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Katie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care. She provides client-centered care rooted in empathy, respect, and trust. For those who seek it, Katie also offers faith-based counseling, integrating spiritual support into the therapeutic process in a client-led manner.
