Mike has a passion to see others build their lives well. His past experiences with mental health and needing to perform at a high level played an influential role in pursuing a career in counseling. For Mike's previous career, he played professional basketball in Europe as well as one season in the United States. Through his experiences, Mike wants to approach the counseling sessions together as a collaboration – working together as a team. He sees his role as guiding you to build your life well.

In addition to working with adult individuals, including those struggling with substance use, Mike works with couples. He enjoys working with couples to see their relationships thrive by building on the strong foundation and truth of Jesus.

 

Other specialties include trauma therapy, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Mike is trained in Brainspotting, which is an effective tool that explores how our bodies process past experiences. He is honored to have the opportunity to work with you and meet you on your journey.
